DarkSelf: Other Mind is a first-person psichological horror game about the growth of darkness over time.
Explore the house, life and mind of John Parse. Complete puzzles inside the mind of John Parse to unlock his memories, and don't let the DarkSelf catch you.
John Parse is a man with a wife and daughter. As the years go by, John begin to become a different person. A darker person. He begins to mistreat his wife and daughter.
Look for the 3 keys and complete puzzles, unlock the memory locks and get the 12 memory pieces to discover John's memories. Use the items in the house to uncover the puzzles.

I managed to finally find time to record a video for this game. It's really good and actually managed to scare me pretty good towards the end. Excellent job so far. 10/10
I'm currently attempting to continue the demo for my next video and I'm stuck on this screen. I might have to do new game, I'm not sure.
What Chapter are you on? Or did that happen on the start of the game?
I'm not sure what chapter I left off, I started over for a refresher. Video should be out sometime this week.

If you are trying to Continue the Demo from Version 1.0. You may need to start a new game because I changed the entire Demo, it's now on Version 2.0. Also, the Chapters that were on Demo 1.0 was 1, 7 and 12. On This new Version 2.0, the Chapters are 1,2,3 and 12. So, if you are trying to continue the Demo and if you were on Chapter 7, That chapter is no longer available on this demo.
Thank you so much for playing and recording the Demo. In the last part you were doing great, use the broken glass item in the kid room in the wall where you used the candle and you will see the key in the wall.
The 3 chapters in this demo are super intriguing making me want to play more! It took me a while to get the hang of what I need to do, especially in the 2nd playable chapter as that took me a while. Cause of this, I gave up quick in 3rd chapter as the game was causing me all kinds of nervousness :') Excellent game with a unique and interesting mechanic to unveil the memories, great work! My gameplay is below if interested :)
Thank you so much for playing and recording the Demo. Since Chapter 7 is a mix of the previous Chapters, it's a bit hard to know what the player need to do, but the final version of the game will have a few hints on what the player must do to progress the Chapters faster.

I really enjoyed this game. I did get lost a few times trying to make progress. That can be fine tuned, but it's quality work and did scare me a few times.

I'm gonna be deadly honest here, I loved the game feels, the voice work is very decent, it makes the game very immersive... but I do think the games very repetitive, I found myself going up and down the stairs, in and out different rooms looking for keys, which unfortunately made me loose interest after quite some time of trying to find a particular key, which I never did so I give up. Also I highly recommend adding a feature which only allows voice memories of photos and items to be spoken once, it was getting annoying hearing the same thing over and over while looking for the keys.

i liked the idea of it but i did have some thoughts on it tbh ... i would show you my video about it soon and hope you guys take it as just honesty and constructive feedback for the full game :)
